These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of qrplus.com.au and the QR code generation and tracking services provided by Printed Plus [ABN to confirm], trading as QRPlus (business name registration with ASIC pending as of this draft) ("QRPlus," "we," "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a QR code, you agree to these Terms.
QRPlus lets you generate QR codes (website links, WiFi, contact cards, and other types) and, for dynamic codes, edit their destination and view scan analytics after they're created and printed. The service is provided via a self-hosted platform operated by us.
One-time QR code packs (1, 3, or 5 codes) are a single payment for a fixed number of codes. These codes remain editable after purchase — you can change their destination at any time — but the purchase itself is a one-off; it does not include ongoing analytics or support beyond what's stated on the pricing page at time of purchase.
You agree not to use QRPlus to create or distribute QR codes that:
We reserve the right to disable any QR code or account found violating this section, without refund, where the violation is serious or repeated.
Scanning a QRPlus code collects limited, non-personally-identifying analytics (device type, rough location, timing) as described in our Privacy Policy. By using QRPlus to generate codes that the public will scan, you confirm you have the right to collect this data in your relevant jurisdiction and, where required by local law, that you'll disclose this tracking to people scanning your codes (e.g. via your own privacy notice if required).
We aim to keep QRPlus available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We're not liable for losses caused by scheduled maintenance, factors outside our reasonable control (e.g. hosting provider outages), or misuse of the service by you or a third party.
QRPlus and its software, design, and branding remain our property (or that of our licensors, including the open-source software QRPlus is built on). You retain ownership of the content you put into your QR codes (destinations, logos, contact details, etc.).
To the extent permitted by law, QRPlus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time; see our Refund Policy for what happens to unused subscription time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and significant changes may be emailed to account holders.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
